Meet the Scientist


I’m a food scientist, but my passion is creativity.

One way I express that creativity is through the development of new food and beverage ideas into exciting products. In the past, that’s been for brands such as Cadbury’s, Dolmio, Uncle Ben’s, Smirnoff, and Johnnie Walker. Now, it’s with some of Australia’s leading chefs.

The science and art of cooking continues to evolve, and I believe that chefs, bartenders, small food and beverage producers, artisans and foodies who are open to, and excited by, the full range of techniques, tools and ingredients that are now available to them can play a part in advancing their craft and building on tradition.

I’m not a chef. My role is to explain how things work and provide you with what you need to create new ideas or improve on existing ones. I have created a product line that should provide the building blocks for your creativity, and I’m expanding my range of products as the chefs I work with encounter new problems and see new opportunities.

I’m the scientist, you are the artist. You have the ideas, I can help you make them happen.
